Home schooling with WISDOM

Supporting traditional home schooling, where parents have control over what is taught to their children, how it is taught, and when it is taught.

Brendan graduated high school from St. Gregory’s Academy in Pennsylvania and obtained his B.A. in Theology from Christendom College in Front Royal, Virginia. During his academic years, he was fortunate to have spent time abroad, studying architecture and history in Rome, Italy, through the Christendom Semester Abroad Program. He also studied Latin at the renowned Intensive Summer Latin Program at University College Cork in Cork, Ireland.

After graduating from Christendom College, he was employed as a classical arts teacher at a private Catholic school in Peterborough, Ontario for two years. This school was the fruit of the many homeschooling families in the community and Brendan himself was one of the original students at the school.

After marrying his beautiful wife (Sally Sheridan, previous WISDOM tutor) in 2015, they were blessed with the opportunity to spend a year abroad in France both learning French and teaching English. They recently returned to Canada and are awaiting the arrival of their first child at the end of August.
