 commodate a group of homeschoolers for track and field\, May 8th!

 s is an invitation for the WISDOM homeschoolers to join the Higher Ground 
 Christian School students for a track and field day on May 8\, 2026. The W
 ISDOM group has been appreciated at this event since 2012.

 Time: 8:30-3
 Site: Crescent Heights High School track
 Participants
 : Ages 5–15
 Events:
 Track events — 50 m\, 100 m\, 200 m\, and 400 
 m races
 Field events — softball throw\, discus throw\, shot put\, long
  jump\, triple jump\, high jump
 
 Participants may enter all 10 events 
 or choose the ones they wish to do. However\, they should remain with thei
 r group throughout the day.
 
 Practice Times: May 5 and 6 from&nbsp\;3:
 45-5:00 pm&nbsp\;at Higher Ground Christian School\, located in Veinervill
 e off Highway 41A. Please contact Wayne (info below) if you wish to attend
 .
 Helpers: Help is especially appreciated with the youngest groups. If a
  helper would like to stay at one event all day\, please let Wayne know. H
 elpers who move from event to event can assist at multiple stations. Those
  who have aged out (older than 15) but have helped in the past are definit
 ely welcome—teenagers who assisted in 2025 were terrific! Lunch is provi
 ded at no cost for helpers.

 What to bring: Head protect
 ion\, sunscreen\, good footwear for running\, a jacket (in case of cool we
 ather)\, lawn chairs (for helpers)\, and a water bottle.
