Terry is happily married to Richard and spent 26 years home educating their four daughters:  Natasha, Rachel, Mikayla and Julia.  She loves the Charlotte Mason Philosophy, Unit Studies and really enjoyed eclectic learning with lots of hands on learning and books when home schooling the girls.

Some of her favorite memories are readalouds, Country Day Afternoons with other home school families, AND all the busy mornings or afternoons of learning together.  Baking, nature walks, sewing, LEGO, Busy Bags, crafts, and so much more filled their days. It was a lovely life and home schooling remains close to her heart. Leading a Home School Support Group in Vermilion gives her the opportunity to continue to encourage home school parents.

Both Terry and Richard volunteered for the WISDOM PAC for many years and love WISDOM. They are very concerned about educational freedom and parental choice in Alberta and believe in being politically active to protect those freedoms and choices.

She loves to use a Daytimer, loves paper play and card making, and loves reading Christian Fiction daily.  She also moderates a few Facebook Pages, speed reads many articles and links daily online, and loves sharing the best of what she finds with others.

The Yaceykos presently have 5 grandchildren under 7 (Natasha and Philipp have three children and are living in Germany, while Rachel and Adam have two and are living close to Gramma and Grampa)!  Gramma loves watching for (and buying) the best toys, books and educational extras for their grandkids.

Terry finds great pleasure working in the WISDOM office and getting to know the WISDOM home school Family.  She doesn't have all the answers yet, but will definitely transfer you to someone who can answer your question when you call!  If you need some encouragement along your home school journey, feel free to call and talk for a bit!
