Technology requirements
To protect the integrity of the CLT and CLT10 and ensure a fair testing experience for all students, CLT utilizes a secure LockDown browser. The LockDown browser is required for the remotely proctored CLT and the remotely proctored CLT10.
To learn more about CLT's LockDown Browser and how to install it, click here.
This simple tool will help prevent cheating and ensure that every score truly reflects a student’s own ability. It’s an important step in maintaining the high standards that make the CLT and CLT10 trusted, respected assessments—while still keeping things smooth and stress-free for schools and families.
Note on student email address
Each student taking a CLT needs a unique email address. If your child doesn’t have an email address, there is a workaround if you are using Gmail. In Google accounts, it is possible to add a plus sign and additional characters after the regular address, and the email is received by the address before the plus sign, but it allows a unique sign in. All communication would be received by the main email address, but this allows a unique sign in. For example, if a family has the email Smithfamily@gmail.com, their usernames could look like this:
Smithfamily+Johnny@gmail.com
Smithfamily+Susie@gmail.com
Smithfamily+Jacob@gmail.com
Alternatively WISDOM can also set up a WISDOM student email address. Contact us for more information.
