Family Gathering - Legal 2021

When: Sunday, Sept 12, 1-4pm 

Where: Centennial Park in Legal

We will meet from 1-4 pm on Sunday, Sept 12. Popsicles and ice cream sandwiches (all individually packaged) will be provided. Please bring lawn chairs or a blanket for your family to sit on the grass.

Red Deer and Area Fall Potluck 2021

When: Sunday September 12th from 3pm to 6pm
Where: Bower Kin Community Centre, 85 Boyce St. in Red Deer

WISDOM will provide the main course and beverages, so please bring salads and desserts and board games and ball gloves.

Join other WISDOM families plus WISDOM Facilitators Sue Peachment, Catherine van Kampen, and Paul van den Bosch.

Beach/Park/Playground Day at Kinosoo Beach (Cold Lake)

Kinosoo Beach has the lake, zipline into the lake, water park and park/playground in vicinity.

ML Parent Course - FOUNDATIONS - Sep 13

This series of three 2-hour sessions will include instruction, parent participation, and opportunity for Q & A.  As participants meet in a virtual classroom, a microphone headset, a strong internet connection and speakers are required.

Workshop runs for three Mondays: September 13, 20, and 27, from 7 pm – 9 pm.

Foundations is a prerequisite to all other Mediated Learning Courses with the exception of Screen Impact.  Once you have completed Foundations, please explore the other courses in any order.

Speech & Language Development 2021

With special guest Sarah Crick, MSc, R.SLP, CCC-SLP, and WISDOM mom.

Discover how you can help your child with speech/language delays at home.

Join us for an online evening with answers to your specific questions, information and resources. As participants meet in a virtual classroom, a microphone headset, a strong internet connection and speakers are required.

September 16, 7pm

$30 per couple or individual parent

As you register, please let us know of a specific question you would like to ask, as well as the age of your child.

Family Gathering - West Central - Wabamun

Where: Wabamun Lake Provincial Park

Family Gathering - Calgary 2021

Where:  Pearce Estate Park – 1440 17A St. S.E. Calgary – Just North of Blackfoot Trail on 17A Street.  There is a large parking lot.  We will meet by the playground equipment – Look for the WISDOM sign.

When:  2:00 - 4:00 pm Saturday, September 18th, 2021

What:  An opportunity for families to meet and connect with like-minded people, and spend time together while enjoying some ice cream treats and popsicles.

Food:  We will be serving individually wrapped frozen treats.  Please bring water or other beverages for your family.                         

In the event of inclement weather, we have the option of moving indoors to the gym at The Gilbertine Institute – 1423 8 Avenue S.E.
