Calgary-Area XC Ski ClubGreetings, Cross Country Ski Enthusiasts (and those wanting to give it a try this year), We invite you to join the new Cross Country Ski Club for the Calgary area. Joe and Diane Pollock — retired WISDOM facilitators and current PAC members — have created a system of ski trails on their property just southwest of Calgary, and are making them available to WISDOM families. In addition, they will plan outings to other X-C ski venues in the mountains. No experience is necessary, but you will need to have your own ski equipment. Joe is a former ski instructor who is willing to provide lessons for anyone requesting them. If you are interested, contact Joe and Diane at joepollock@outlook.com. |

Rabbit Hill Ski Day 2024Where: Rabbit Hill, SW of Edmonton Rabbit Hill is an excellent place to learn or improve downhill skiing or snowboarding skills. Rabbit Hill has excellent instructors for every level. This is an ideal opportunity for those who have never given downhill skiing or snow boarding a try. This is also a great day to enjoy together as a family and meet some other WISDOM home schooling families on the hill or in the chalet. |

Grande Prairie Family Get TogetherOngoing Coffee & Conversation for moms at Anella's house on the second Monday evening of each month, 7:30 - 9:30pm. No childcare will be provided but nursing babies are welcome. Concurrently, there will be teen activities (movie night, board games etc).
