Office Reopens

Axe and Saw Safety - Lethbridge

When: April 28, 1-3pm
Where: Lethbridge, Indian Battle Park @ Alberta Picnic Shelter

With summer approaching it’s a good time to practice some axe work. This class will cover types of axes and their use as well as safety. 

Participants will practice chopping wood using a few methods as well as finer knife work processing. 

Drop-in Soccer - Medicine Hat

When: April 7, 14, 28 from 2:15-3:15

Where: Big Marble Go Center Indoor Soccer Field #2, 2000 Division Ave N, Medicine Hat

Come join us for an exciting opportunity to gather together and learn some soccer skills! Whether you're a beginner or looking to improve, this session is perfect for everyone. All ages and skill levels are welcome – we can’t wait to see you there!

There will be a drop in fee of $15 per class, please bring this with you and pay directly to WISDOM facilitator Tiffany Arnold.

Sherwood Park Open House Event

When: Tuesday, April 29, 7-9pm
Where: Room 1, Bethel Lutheran Church Field, 298 Bethel Dr, Sherwood Park

This information session is for new WISDOM families or those considering home schooling their families. Bring your question and conversation to meet with WISDOM facilitators to discuss home education options for your family. Session includes: general information on home education, building a vision for your family, building an education program plan, curriculum and resources, funding, and special services WISDOM offers. Nursing infants are welcome.

In Person Chess Workshop - Edmonton B

When: May 3 from 10:00-3:00pm (arrive just before 10)
Where: Bethel Lutheran Church, 298 Bethel Drive, Sherwood Park

Chess players! Up your game with an in-person WISDOM chess workshop with Marty Barter, a rising contender with over 11,400 games played and a chess.com rating of 1900. He is passionate about sharing his love and skill with others and has worked with students online and in person, encouraging them to better themselves in developing strategic skills. A great communicator, Marty will inspire you to become a rising star!
