Biology 20 Lab Seminar - CalgaryThis program will introduce students to the scientific method and develop their knowledge and skills in the realm of Biology. They will study and conduct experiments regarding: Scientific Method (Rate of Fermentation of Sugar); Evolution (from a Christian perspective); Photosynthesis; General Anatomical Systems (Fetal Pig Dissection); and Respiratory System (Pulmonary Function Testing). Students will write a lab report for each experiment and will receive personalized feedback to aid and improve further studies. |

Survival: Fall Foraging - Stony PlainWhen: September 15, 2025 from 1-3pm Parental presence required Join Kaykima for an immersive Fall Foraging Class where you'll reconnect with the land and learn to identify the edible, medicinal, and practical gifts nature offers during the autumn season. Fall is a great time to harvest berries at their sweetest and to track down some late summer mushrooms! Whether you're a beginner or have experience in the wild, this class offers a rich, hands-on opportunity to deepen your understanding of the natural world around you. Please wear long pants as we will most likely go off trail. Feel free to bring any berries or mushrooms to class that we can identify as well! |

Medicine Hat Fall Family GatheringWhen: Thursday, September 18, 2025 at 4-8pm. Where: Kin Coulee Kinette Picnic Shelter Current homeschooling families and anyone interested in home schooling are welcome! Spend time with other homeschoolers and members of the WISDOM team, ask questions and find out more about how WISDOM can serve you best. WISDOM will provide burgers, hot dogs and water. There will be games and door prizes available and the kids always come up with more fun ways to play. We look forward to seeing you there! Please bring: a potluck side, salad or dessert, as well as a lawn chair (there are picnic tables but not enough for everyone!).
