These welcoming events are perfect for families exploring home schooling or looking to connect with an established and supportive community. Meet experienced home schoolers, chat with our knowledgeable WISDOM team, and learn how we can partner with you to make your home schooling experience rewarding and successful.
Whether it’s a lively family social or an informative parents-only session, there’s something for everyone! Let’s start your home schooling journey together!
When: Tuesday, May 26, arrive between 4-5 pm; supper at 5 pm; activities to follow until 8 pm
Where: Willey West Campground, 49131 Willey West Road, Brazeau County
Join us for a burger supper supplied by WISDOM Home Schooling. Please bring a side dish to share, as well as plates, cutlery and drinks for your family. Current homeschooling families and anyone interested in home schooling are welcome! Come spend time with other homeschoolers and members of the WISDOM team.
Please wear comfortable clothing and footwear. We'll have a picnic shelter but it might be handy to bring a chair or blanket to sit on. Come prepared for Alberta weather in spring (layers, bug spray, extra water bottles, etc.).

We’d love for you to join us! This potluck is a warm, welcoming event for WISDOM homeschooling families and for those exploring homeschooling as an option. It'll be a wonderful opportunity to meet fellow WISDOM families, connect with the WISDOM team, ask questions, and learn how WISDOM can support you on your journey.
WISDOM will take care of the main course and refreshments.
Please bring: Salads and desserts, your favourite board games, and some favourite outdoor games as well.

Join us for our Spring Social! We welcome both WISDOM families and those considering home schooling with WISDOM this Fall. We will provide ice cream treats (please email dietary restrictions and we will do our best to accommodate). We will have access to bouncy houses, the sports field and equipment where we can play volleyball, soccer, basketball and carnival games. Please wear appropriate clothing for these activities.
Please bring: Chairs or blankets for seating, water bottles, sun protection/weather gear
