All are welcome! This potluck event is for current home schooling families and for anyone interested in home schooling. Join other WISDOM families plus WISDOM Facilitators Rhonda Caluttung, Lydie Delli Santi, Sue Peachment, Catherine van Kampen, and Paul van den Bosch to ask questions and find out more about how WISDOM can serve you best.

WISDOM will provide the main course and beverages.

Please bring: Salads and desserts, your favourite board games, and some favourite outdoor games also.

This event is open to all current WISDOM Home Schooling families as well as those families who are considering home schooling with WISDOM in the future. This is a great opportunity to visit with other home schoolers and members of the WISDOM team, and find out more about how WISDOM can serve you best.

WISDOM will provide hot dogs, buns, condiments and beverages. We will enjoy a meal together as well as have an information time, door prizes, games and socializing. This event will run rain or shine.

Please bring: Please bring potluck sides, salads or desserts to share with the group. (Please note: if you have a highly restrictive diet, feel free to bring your own food if you wish.) There are many activities to enjoy at the facility, but you are welcome to bring other lawn games, board games, and lawn chairs if you would like.

Current homeschooling families and anyone interested in home schooling are welcome! Spend time with other homeschoolers and members of the WISDOM team, ask questions and find out more about how WISDOM can serve you best.

Please bring: Outdoor games and/or indoor board games depending on the weather.

Join us for our Spring Social! We welcome both WISDOM families and those considering home schooling with WISDOM. We will provide ice cream treats (please email dietary restrictions and we will do our best to accommodate). We will have access to bouncy houses and the sports field and equipment where we can play volleyball, soccer, basketball and carnival games. Please wear appropriate clothing for these activities. 

Please bring: Chairs or blankets for seating, water bottles, sun protection/weather gear.

Join current homeschooling families and anyone interested in homeschooling in an evening of socializing while playing Bones or cheering on the teams. Members of the WISDOM team will be present to answer questions and help you find out more about WISDOM Home Schooling.

Please bring: Lawn chairs. A snack to share is optional. Water and juice will be provided.

Join us for WISDOM’s Family Camp, celebrating 30 years of WISDOM Home Schooling!

WISDOM began as a way to meet the needs at the heart of home schooling families, with service offered ‘by home schoolers, for home schoolers’. That passion for this amazing lifestyle continues to this day, as we continue to work to help parents teach their whole child. Join us at this fun family camp to connect with other WISDOM families, reminisce, and celebrate!

When:

• June 19: Evening Arrival
• June 20: Full Day of Activities
• June 21: Full Day of Activities, including Dance Instruction, Catered Dinner, and a Formal Dance
• June 22: Clean Up and Depart

Where: Battle Lake 4H Centre

Accommodation options include camping in your trailer/rv or tent, or booking dorm space or multi-family teepee (sleeps 15, only 3 available). First registered, first booked! No hookups/powered sites available. Families may bring their own food or purchase meal passes.

Activities Include: archery, baseball, swimming, boating/kayaking (bring your own watercraft), chess, soccer, card making, perler beads ...and more!

Cost: $275 per family or $100 per individual

Can’t make the whole weekend? Join us for Saturday’s 30th Anniversary Banquet & Festivities!

Celebrate 30 years of WISDOM with a special day to connect with other WISDOM families, reminisce, and celebrate! Saturday includes a Full Day of Activities, including Dance Instruction, Catered Dinner, and a Formal Dance—perfect for those who can’t attend the full camp.
