Mini Scene Study with Calvin & Hobbes

An actor’s job is to “connect the thoughts,”meaning to find the connections that make each moment of the story full of discovery and dynamic action. Participants will engage in playful exercises in scenes from Bill Watterson's classic Calvin and Hobbes comic strip.The goal is to awaken students’ imaginations to engage a character’s relationship and conflict with bold vocal and physical expression.
