When: April 10 – June 12
Time: Wednesdays, 10:30 – 11:30am
Who: Ages 12+ (parents can take this course, too!)

This course is intended to provide a thorough introduction to the Mac for individuals aged 12 and up, including parents looking to improve their computer skills. The curriculum covers important topics like becoming familiar with navigating the Mac, organizing files and directories, understanding various file formats, and basic troubleshooting techniques when things go wrong. Students will learn how to use a Mac for a variety of everyday tasks, including document creation and multimedia content management. This foundational course will provide learners with the skills they need for daily computing activities while also preparing the way for more advanced learning.

The content of this workshop requires active participation by all students. If a student must miss a class, a request must be submitted to the tutor more than 48 hours in advance to qualify for an excused absence. Three unexcused absences will constitute student withdrawal from the remainder of the workshop.
