Basics & Intermediate Ballroom Weekend - Lethbridge Area

When:
November 14 from 1pm - 9:30pm - bring a packed supper
November 15 from 9am - 11:00pm - bring a bag lunch, and a main dish and salad or dessert for the potluck supper

Ball begins at 7:00pm. Please bring a change of clothes for the ball. Semi formal to formal attire.

Want the full ballroom experience? Register for both workshops together and enjoy the best of both worlds. You will not only learn the basics—like how to waltz, rumba, fox trot and jive—but also strengthen your skills and add in new steps along the way. Instructors Mike and Michele Barter will guide you through the fundamentals and then help you take the next step, adding dances like the cha-cha and samba. These workshops reinforce ballroom etiquette, giving you the life skills that stem from practicing courtesy. Students and parents benefit from the training in social graces as well as the opportunity to spend time with other home schoolers.

By registering for both events at once, you can save your spot in the full programme and take advantage of a seamless progression from the basics to the more advanced dances. Generations of home schoolers have enjoyed learning with Mike and Michele and now you can, too!

Open to non-WISDOM families; WISDOM families take precedence.
