ML: Reading & Math - Southern AB E1131

When: 22 January, 10 a.m.–3 p.m.
Where: Southern Alberta (location to be confirmed)

These two 2-hour sessions (on the same day) will include instruction, parent participation, and practical tips to jump the hurdles encountered in reading and math challenges.

In this workshop:

• Take a fresh approach at helping those with reading or math barriers.  
• Use Mediated Learning to work past blocking behaviours.
• Explore readiness.
• Learn about perception challenges (dyslexia/dyscalculia) and how to work with your child.
• Learn the roots of reading and math struggles, and direct this knowledge toward a fresh start for children wounded by negative experiences.
• Come away with a strategy.
