Tools have allowed humans to create, build, and survive for thousands of years. In this class, participants will learn how to safely use and respect some of the most important wilderness tools: knives and axes.
Students will learn:
- Different types of knives and their uses
- Different types of axes and their uses
- Proper handling and safety practices
- How to safely process wood for wilderness tasks
Through hands-on practice, participants will learn safe cutting techniques, wood processing skills, and how to use tools responsibly.
The focus of this class is not just learning how to use a tool—it is learning awareness, respect, and confidence.
