Job Purpose
Gather and capture student information into our SIS, prepare and file student records, be passionate about our mission tohelp families flourish.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Entering new and updated student information.
- Prepares source data for computer entry.
- Sorting, scanning, filing of paper and digital student records following procedure and appropriate quality controlmethods.
- Establishes entry priorities.
- Processes student source documents by reviewing data for discrepancies.
- Resolves discrepancies by using standard procedures and obtaining further information for incompletedocuments.
- Maintains data entry requirements by following SIS techniques and procedures.
- Verifies entered student data by reviewing, correcting, deleting, or reentering data.
- Maintains FOIP and PIPA standards and protects operations by keeping information confidential.
- Communicate with school administrators across the province to ensure proper sharing of student documents andinformation.
- Maintains operations by following policies and procedures and reporting needed changes to the Senior SIS DataManager.
- Contributes to team effort by answering phones and emails, offering support to parents and students as needed.Communicate with parents and other jurisdictions to resolve overlapping enrolments
- Provide phone support to parents
- Represent home school administration at events as needed
Qualifications & Personal Qualities
- No previous education or experience necessary
- Home schooling graduate or home educating parent strongly preferred
- High School Completion required
- Strong computer skills and previous experience with PASI and SIS are considered strong assets
- Must have the ability to concentrate for lengthy periods and have excellent attention to detail
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a desire to see
Working Conditions
FTE or continuous variable-time, wage status. Some evenings and weekends may be required.
