Indoor Rock Wall Climbing - Edmonton P E993

When: January 19 from 10 - 12pm
Where: Vertically Inclined 8523 Argyll Road Edmonton, Alberta

Aimed towards the first-timer, this 2 hour session allows participants to learn about the sport of climbing through hands-on (and feet-on) skills.

Ages 6 and up. This is not a drop off program. If your student is not accompanied by an adult, they will not be able to participate in the program. Parents may register and climb as well if they wish. 

Climbing shoes will be provided for sessions. Participants can bring in comfortable clothes, and socks to wear in the climbing shoes.

A waiver from Vertically Inclined will be sent with the registration confirmation. Please fill out one for each climber and send them back!

Building Executive Function While Playing Chess - Mundare A E1049

Who: Ages 14 and up

In this workshop, participants will learn how chess can enhance their planning, strategic thinking, and resilience. Co-hosted by chess expert Marty Barter.

Speech & Language Development - Online J E1030

When: 22 January, 1–3 p.m.
Where: Online

Join us for a one-hour session exploring how your child’s brain processes language and the factors that can contribute to speech delays. Speech-Language Pathologist Sarah Crick will be available to answer your questions and address any concerns. This is an excellent opportunity to gain insight into your child’s language development.

CLT (College Entrance Exam & Grade 11-12 Assessment) January

The Classical Learning Test (CLT) is a post-secondary entrance exam, created as an alternative to the SAT and recognized at many post-secondary institutions across the United States, and a growing number in Canada.

Chess players! Up your game with an in-person WISDOM chess workshop with Marty Barter, a rising contender with more than 11,400 games played and a chess.com rating of 1900. He is passionate about sharing his love and skill with others and has worked with students online and in person, helping them develop stronger strategic skills.
