Due to the overwhelming success of Riverwatch last season, I am organizing another trip for the upcoming school year. Reach out now to get on the wait list!
Riverwatch is a one day program, booked for Fri May 21, 2027. This is the Friday leading into the long weekend.
Cost is $52/ student based on full rafts. This is a great deal as the summer program works out to ~$100/day. To keep costs down, I will only book full rafts. We currently have 2 full rafts and I am taking names for a 3rd. First come, first served, and I'm not sure what the cut-off will be for adding people, so don't delay.
Ages 11+, with average age ~15. Right now registered ages range 11-18. Younger students need to be strong enough to row the boats; it's a safety thing. All students need to participate in rowing.
Unparented. If there are spots available, parents can purchase a spot, but priority will be given to students. There will be one parent chaperone per raft, along with the Riverwatch guides. Riverwatch staff are impressive in their enthusiasm and knowledge.
The date chosen aligns with the timing we had for 2026 and the weather was ideal. Hopefully we'll be past the cold and snow and ahead of high water levels. If the trip needs to be postponed for any reason (rain, temperature, river levels, etc.), we will be rescheduling. There will be no refunds available. People may sell their spots if circumstances require them to miss the trip.
Non-refundable payment of $52 per student is required to secure your spot. Please message me on Facebook with full name(s), and age(s) as of May 21, 2027 if you are interested in committing to the trip. Once I have enough people committed I will take payment for the next raft(s).
Note again that payment is non-refundable. If you change your mind, you can either sell your spot or donate it back to the group. Once we book the raft, I'm committed to pay.
Last year, coordination was a ridiculous amount of work so your cooperation, prompt payment, and timely responses are greatly appreciated to make everything run smoothly!
