ML Parent Course - BEHAVIOUR Nov 8

Prerequisite:  Mediated Learning Basics/Foundations

Parents, we invite you to join us for an online parent training course.

Workshop runs for three Mondays: November 8, 15 & 22, from 6:50 pm – 9:00 pm.

This series of three 2-hour sessions will include instruction, parent participation, and opportunity for Q & A.  As participants meet in a virtual classroom, a microphone headset, a strong internet connection and speakers are required.

Introduction to Sound Design (Online)

COST: $50 per personNov 9, 16 and 23 from 9:30-10:40am 

Sound effects and music are catalysts for the imagination in plays and films. We will cover the process of executing a sound design while exploring different sounds to create atmospheres and environments that support different stories. Thanks to accessibility online, and recording devices like our smartphones,students will research and source sounds during the workshop.

Minimum number to run the course is 8 participants with a maximum of 12: ages 15 and up.

Fundamentals of Chess A: Ages 11-15

When: Tuesdays, November 9 - December 14
Time: 12-1pm
Ages: 11-15

Does your child love to play chess? This six week program is a unique opportunity to play the game while improving skills in Problem Solving, Deductive Reasoning and Creative Thinking by solving chess puzzles and executing a systematic process to beat your opponent.

While this program is called "beginner" it will challenge your chess player and keep them engaged, even if they have been playing for years.

Fundamentals of Chess: Ages 6-10

When: Wednesdays, November 10 - December 15
Time: 9-10am
Ages: 5-10

Does your child love to play chess? This four-week program is a unique opportunity to play the game while improving skills in Problem Solving, Deductive Reasoning and Creative Thinking by solving chess puzzles and executing a systematic process to beat your opponent.

While this program is called "beginner" it will challenge your chess player and keep them engaged, even if they have been playing for years.

Voice Acting: Find Your Voices (Online)

COST: $50 per person
Nov 11, 18, 25  from 9:30-10:40am.

Dive into the world of creating bold and surprising character voices! You’ll be inspired by objects like hats you bring from home to create bold, characters, utilizing both your instincts and a step-by-step approach to building unique, specific voices inspired by Voice Over legend Pat Fraley and facilitated by RSA instructor David Snider.

Minimum number to run the course is 8 participants with a maximum of 12: ages 15 and up.
