Fundamentals of Chess E: Ages 11-15When: Mondays, January 17 - February 21, 2022 Does your child love to play chess? This six week program is a unique opportunity to play the game while improving skills in Problem Solving, Deductive Reasoning and Creative Thinking by solving chess puzzles and executing a systematic process to beat your opponent. While this program is called "beginner" it will challenge your chess player and keep them engaged, even if they have been playing for years. |

Mini Scene Study with Calvin & HobbesWhen: Tuesdays, January 18 - February 1, 2022, 9:30-10:40 An actor’s job is to “connect the thoughts,”meaning to find the connections that make each moment of the story full of discovery and dynamic action. Participants will engage in playful exercises in scenes from Bill Watterson's classic Calvin and Hobbes comic strip.The goal is to awaken students’ imaginations to engage a character’s relationship and conflict with bold vocal and physical expression. |
