Fundamentals of Chess B - Ages 6-10

What: Fundamentals of Chess for ages 6-10
When: Mondays, April 3 – May 8
Time: 10:00 – 11:00am

Does your child love to play chess? This six-week program is a unique opportunity to play the game while improving skills in Problem Solving, Deductive Reasoning and Creative Thinking by solving chess puzzles and executing a systematic process to beat your opponent.

While this program is called "beginner" it will challenge your chess player and keep them engaged, even if they have been playing for years.

Camrose Phys-ed Activity Meetup

Date: Every Tuesday from 1:00 PM to 2:45 PM starting April 4 and ending May 2
Location: Camrose Community Centre, 4516 54 St

Geared towards ages 8 - 17. Younger siblings welcome as long as they are supervised.

Days will consist of some organized activities, free play and casual sports (basic rules will be explained, some skills may be practiced and games will be for fun).

$5 / Child or $10 / Family per day - pre pay by etransfer or cash the day of.

Chess: Intermediate Continuation Class O - All Ages

What: Chess: Intermediate Continuation Class
Prerequisite: Fundamentals of Chess
When: Tuesdays, April 4 – May 9
Time: 1:00 – 2:00 pm

Intermediate chess course is for students who want to learn complex concepts that revolve around seeing at least 2 moves ahead or more. This challenging 6 week course helps students reach their full potential as they master all fundamentals and start visualizing multiple variations. Classes can only be taken by students who took the beginner chess class offered by WISDOM or for students who contacted Mr Bloom directly to verify skill level.

Is your student interested in learning how to code? Python is a powerful, easy-to-learn programming language that is widely used in the tech industry. In this online workshop, your child will get an introduction to the fundamentals of programming using Python. They will learn how to write their own programs, solve problems, and create fun projects.
