NEW Introduction to Python AWhen: March 3 - May 12 from 9-10:30am (no class on April 21) This newly-revised 10-week course introduces students to programming using Python. Designed for beginners, it provides a solid foundation in coding concepts that can be applied to other programming languages. While prior experience with visual programming languages like Scratch is helpful, it's not required. Students will learn basic Python syntax, problem-solving skills, and fundamental programming concepts. By the end of the course, participants will have a good understanding of Python and be prepared to explore more advanced programming topics. |

Charcloth Making and Fire Craft - LethbridgeWhen: March 3, 2025 Join Kaykima for an afternoon by the fire, learning about the Charcloth method of fire starting. Participants will learn the process of making charcloth before creating their own. They will learn about percussive fire starting and practice lighting their charcloth using rock and steel striking methods. Participants will have the opportunity to take home the charcloth they make to use for their next fire. |

Rabbit Hill Ski DayWhere: Rabbit Hill, SW of Edmonton Rabbit Hill is an excellent place to learn or improve downhill skiing or snowboarding skills. Rabbit Hill has excellent instructors for every level. This is an ideal opportunity for those who have never given downhill skiing or snowboarding a try. This is also a great day to enjoy together as a family and meet some other WISDOM Home Schooling families on the hill or in the chalet. |
