Biology 20 Lab Seminar - Edmonton E1154
When: Weekly, beginning September 12
Where: Alternating between online and at Santa Maria Goretti Centre, 11050 90 St NW, Edmonton
This program will introduce students to the scientific method and develop their knowledge and skills in the realm of Biology. They will study and conduct experiments regarding: Scientific Method (Rate of Fermentation of Sugar); Evolution (from a Christian perspective); Photosynthesis; General Anatomical Systems (Fetal Pig Dissection); and Respiratory System (Pulmonary Function Testing). Students will write a lab report for each experiment and will receive personalized feedback to aid and improve further studies.
The Biology 20 laboratory seminar offered through WISDOM Home Schooling and The Gilbertine Academy is designed to be a self-enclosed program. Students who are not currently studying Biology 20 for course credit can benefit from this program. The Biology 20 laboratory seminar can also be used for 30% of their portfolio in their course credit challenge or to use it as the Science requirement for a WISDOM Home Schooling Diploma.
