13 yrs and up, $275, 14 week course, twice weekly – No Prerequisite
Euclid 1A gives students a basic grasp of the geometric concepts found in the first three books of Euclid's Elements by familiarizing them with his definitions and methods of demonstration. While the course doesn't presuppose any special mathematical knowledge, it requires a willingness to think critically, the ability to prepare about four geometrical demonstrations a night, and to take part in presenting up to three of them in class.
